the store is decently organized but the selection has been hit or miss for me when I visit. The positive side is: the parking lot is good, they are willing to order items, and again, while I feel the selection is hit or miss - it is diverse and plentiful in its volume.
Great store & wonderful hosts for a record signing I attended. They put a fully stocked rack of band’s records so that you had an item for the band to sign. Lots of gems here! Prices were great in comparison to other local area record stores.
This is one of my top 3 local record stores. They’re 45 mins from me, but very worth the trip when I can make it there! Olivia is super friendly and great at answering questions about stock. Even if they don’t have it, they’ll try to order for you or give you suggestions on where to look if it’s no longer available.
We are so blessed to have Schoolkids Records in Raleigh. Legendary!!! The owner and his staff are professional, engaging and are committed to supporting the needs of "Schoolkids". I am a long time customer and friend. It is a place that keeps evolving.
