It's a Great store and has knowledgable staff. If they don't have it they can order it. Red Devil Records is a beacon for anyone that loves vinyl and even CDs. As for the prices, they are as expected for Marin. I'm sure you can find vinyl for less but you would have to travel over an hour and pay some tolls.
Stopped by on our way to an event in Sebastopol. Quick visit, but left with a couple of nice rare finds at reasonable prices. Including The Cure, a Pink Floyd live album and a couple of singles. Met the owner, and he is knowledgeable and frank. Learned about a punk band “RADIO BIRDMAN”.
I love going to Red Devil and in fact make about an hour drivr to do it. They have great diverse collection of records. All the classic renowned stuff are stocked, example Pink Floyd or Fleetwood Mac. So everyone will find something to buy here. Yet collectors can dig deep from some more out-of left-field stuff.
I love this spot and a review is long overdue. If you know how to dig and what to dig for your complaints about pricing only show how out of touch you are with what it’s like to buy records in today’s time. This is not goodwill nor is it the estate sale where you can buy records in bulk for $25.
