What customers say
After several visits to Records Forever, I have decided that this is the most welcoming record shop in Philly. The selection is wonderfully eclectic and has only grown more so in the few months since opening. I've never left empty-handed. What's truly special about this place, though, is Gabriel.
This is a great new shop opened in the Fairmount neighborhood just across the street from the historic Eastern State Penitentiary. I have a fairly diverse taste in music & a wide range of titles I’m collecting, this place was seemingly custom-tailored to my tastes: reggae/soul/hip-hop/prog&psyche/garage/UK&US…
Had a great experience buying a new record player and speaker set up at Records Forever. I’m not the most tech smart guy, but the owner helped me set up and troubleshoot the system, and it sounds so great at home! He threw in a tote bag and used record too. Nice guy, great store, it’s just what Fairmount needed.
Just visited today, honestly really reasonably priced stuff in a beautiful space! Smaller but still tons of gems. There’s a little listening station which i thought was such a great idea! And the owner was very nice and welcoming. So happy to have a quality record store in the area!
