Great shop! They have great selections of music! Got a lot of Beach House and Godspeed You! Black Emperor vinyl over here. The employees are very kind and have great taste in music! :3 While back, I was nerding out with one of the employees about Yeule, Bjork, and Death Grips, and he was really awesome.

Best record store I know of... but they have some common folk perusing so you better visit often !

I'm new to Iowa City, but have been stopping by here quite a bit. I've really liked their selection of music, and on top of it -- the employees have been really helpful... Last week, I had an issue with a record of mine that was skipping.

I've been doing business at Record Collector for several years and it's been a good source of good quality used LP's for me. They also stock a good selection of new vinyl as well. Prices are consistent with other vendors, sometimes less. Any problems I've had have been dealt with very professionally.
