I'd like to be transparent. I didn't buy anthing from Record City (I'm broke). However, I can 100% attest that this is the best record store in San Diego. The two gentlemen who work there are so friendly and kind, and asked me about what kind of music I listen to.
I came here to look for rap and hip hop CDs. I was so happy and satisfied with the overall experience, I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. Amazing collection of CDs, I walked out of the store with around 10 CD albums based on rap and hip hop. Great record store!
Stopped in prior to heading to the airport Friday. Great selection, high quality used vinyl, and prices were very fair. Grabbed a couple old jazz albums in near mint condition. Stop in-you won't be disappointed.
