I bought a Dinosaur Jr. CD the day that it came out, back in the 90s, when I went to school at V.U. I just moved back to town and stopped in at the Record Cellar and it felt and looked almost exactly the same (not to mention that it smelled the same--incense).
This is a great little record store! Tons of stuff to look through! Unless you are going in to buy one specific item, be prepared to spend a lot of time looking though the racks. I was pleased to see a lot of newer items, like the record day stuff, but there are a lot of older albums too.
Good, wide selection of cd's, tapes and records but I feel like they are geared more towards the later years like 2000's and back. There isn't much good 'new music' that I saw when I went there but I will still go there because they can order anything you dont find there (even if you can get it cheaper on ebay)…
Took my Jeep to them for a new infotainment unit and backup camera install. Not only did they do a great job, but they were extremely helpful, nice, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything.
