Amazing store. My son and I were stopping in the store before we had a flight out of town. We had no intention of buying anything but the selection was so good, we purchased 3 records (could have been more if time allowed).
My first visit to this store was back in April for the listening party for The Crux by Djo. I usually go to another store that I live closer to, but the staff and owner here were just so friendly that I’m going to continue to make the farther trip to shop here.
Rattleback Records is THE record store to hit when you are in Chicago. They have a great, knowledgeable, cute as a button staff, a wide and vast inventory, and cassettes, damnit! Seriously, it’s vinyl lovers heaven. Go, Go, Go!!!!
This place is sooo cozy, festive, and worth a visit. I love their selection of vintage items as well as their unique posters. Also… 1$ blind bags??? YES PLEASE!! Such a fun visit
