Great selection from all eras and genres from jazz to hip-hop to country to electronic to rock to indie to avant-garde to exotica to punk to metal to folk and everything in between. Good audio equipment in stock and just a general overall pleasant vibe.
If you're in the Charlotte area and you want to buy new and used records OR sell your vinyl, Premium Sound is THE place go. Luke is incredibly knowledgeable about all genres of music and he's carefully curated the vinyl in his cozy shop, making it the best record store in the area by a long shot.
Luke is SO helpful and this record store is so COOL. This is the place you go to find the good stuff that you can’t find at the basic stores. Everyone here is iconic, down to earth, and knows their stuff. Hot people shop here. Hard not to gatekeep!
