Power Plant Records

I live in San Diego and happened to be up in the area and found this great little record store. Great selection and reasonable prices. I spent some time talking with Biff, the owner. Very friendly and helpful. Was surprised to see they also provide music lessons. Very impressed with the whole set up, I will be back.

Decent selection of records and 45's. I bought two 45's. No acknowledgment of my presence until I paid. Owner was in a meeting in some back room. I had to call him out. Prices are good on the 45's, paid just a buck each on near mint copies. Recommended for vinyl collectors.

This place is a little tucked away but easy to find. Though it's not a big shop, it has a great selection of records at great prices! The guy who helped me out at the counter was friendly and really helpful! If I were in the area again, I would definitely go back.

Power plant records is the best! Great selection of vinyl, the owner and staff are super cool and one of the best things about them are the local shows they put on at Stuft Pizza to support local punk bands like Repeater and Simulator (aka Current Location).
