Definitely the coolest spot in PG. There is a great record selection and a rotating group of DJs that play the small space. There is a small seating area and bar with local beers and a good selection of cocktails and wine.
I didn't think Pacific Grove was capable of permitting a place this cool. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe is well created but unpretentious. Very excited that it's no longer necessary to drive to Monterey just to grab a drink after 8pm.
Musicians have great respect for venue operators when those operators are musicians themselves. There is understanding and support. It's not a battle. It's a collaboration for mutual success. There should be more venues like P&H.
How did something this cool land in PG? Wonderful interior, fun vibe, promising future! Vinyl to purchase (new and old) and a space that can deliver on so many fronts. Grateful to have it!
