First time at this store. So fun and colorful, I could have spent hours exploring. Vinyl was neatly alphabetized and organized so I could peruse easily. Looking forward to next time.
I’ve been to quite a few record stores in Central Illinois and would ask about specific records and I always got told “Good luck, you’ll never see any of those around here.” I walked in to Pizza Records and there was one sitting on the Recently Added shelf and two more in with the rest of the band’s albums.
This vinyl shop is one of the very best I’ve visited. The atmosphere creates an illusion of stepping back into the past, the owners are so friendly, helpful, and unique. Their inventory holds true gems. I absolutely think this place is far out and super groovy.
I recently played a show at Pizza Records and had a blast! Great venue and stellar folks! I even contacted them after I got home (4 hrs away) bc the shirts I purchased were too small and wanted to make an exchange. They got a replacement in the mail that day. And let me keep the smaller size to give to my wife!
