I used to come here when it was Cafe NELA back in the day. At first I was reluctant to check out the new place, but I went there for the Queens Of The Stone Age, In Time New Roman, album listening party. It still has the same divey and warm feel that I was used to.
Great venue! Pros: Great bar staff, service, and drinks. Really nice, large outdoor patio area. Cool record shop. Decor & lighting set a nice vibe. Great PA & live sound quality.
Fun dive to see live bands. The staff are fast and friendly, the drinks are strong, the sound is good, and some booth seating is available. The outside patio has room for a lot of merch tables, the smoking lounge is set away from the crowds, they have a taco vendor and tables for eating, and, of course, vinyl…
Pleasantly surprised! Came here for a DJ set hosted by some of my favorite podcasters. The DJ set was in their patio area where they have tables and chairs and shade. They also have a small records store that’s packed with all sorts of goodies (and canned beverages)! Really well organized too.
