Visited Oregon City Records this afternoon for the first time, on a total whim. Let me just say it was a one of a kind experience that one rarely is allowed in this day and age. The owner was friendly, attentive and helpful in finding what I was looking for.
This record store is jam-packed full of the best records ever made.... it’s got a genuine feel to it, no pretentious attitude. It’s also owned by some of the most awesome people I have ever met in my life.
One of the best record stores in the Portland area, the bigger guys seem to be over priced. This spot has everything you'd want in the record buying experience, a little bit of everything unless you're looking for new, but where's the fun in that.
Hands down my favorite store in the Portland metro area. Tory and his wife are the owners and are awesome and are truly nice people. Vinyl selection is tops and prices are great. I highly recommend taking a trip to main street Oregon City and enjoy browsing through the many treasures this store has to offer.
