On Maritime Records

I’ve always loved traveling and make it a point to visit local record shops wherever I go — and this one, which I happened to walk into by chance, has become one of my favorites! I was feeling really down due to an unfortunate incident during my trip to LA, but this record shop completely lifted my spirits.

Great record shop. Easily one of the best in LA. Isaac was great and paid me very well for my collection. Friendly staff and great house and disco records here.

Both locations of On Maritime (Highland Park and Melrose) are great. You can usually find some great deals. I focus mostly on their Funk/RnB and Jazz sections but they have a great house/techno selection as well.

An absolute gem for music lovers. The selection here is top-tier—everything from classic rock and jazz to rare pressings and local indie finds. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, always ready to recommend something new or help track down a hard-to-find album.
