Obsession Records

Obsession Records is aptly named. I ventured to this store on a whim. My wife and I took in the experience of sorting through shelves of vinyl. There was a sense of discovery and magic finding an album versus looking for one. My wife discovered a vintage Simon and Garfunkel album and we left with it.

Okay so I went here for the first time last Tuesday and I gotta say it's a great place. It's a little cramped but they make up for it by having and awesome selection of music they even have a local band section. For anyone who may think this it's not just records in there there's CDs aswell.

Very nice people working there. I had bought a really good cd album in a very good price. There are also a wide selection of vinyl records sold there to in a wide range of music genre. If you live in Anchorage, AK and looking for a record store, this is the place.

This was my first time visiting Obsession Records and what a great record shop! I can’t believe I hadn’t stepped in sooner. They have a great and wide selection of vinyls, cds, cassettes, you name it. I enjoyed looking through the cds and vinyls and walked away with more than I expected.
