What customers say
What a find! Read about the shop in “Dutchess” magazine. Jared is warm and hospitable and has a great selection of new and used LP’s, vintage gear, and artwork in an intimate space—with classic music playing. It’s like visiting a friend’s home.
Really awesome shop. Jared is very friendly and helpful, and the store has a great mix of records for beginners and for more experienced collectors. No donuts though.
This postage stamp of a record shop around the back of a Mexican restaurant and liquor store in the small rural town of Stanfordville, NY (final resting place of Scrabble inventor Alfred Mosher Butts and last residence of James Cagney) is arguably the coolest spot between Albany and NYC.
In a town with no stop light and just a handful of businesses, imagine that one of them is a super cool record & art shop. Tucked away behind a Mexican restaurant, Not Donuts Records, NDR, is a rare hidden gem. Jared, the owner, has curated his little shop with amazing music, used stereo equipment, artwork and gifts.
