I've never walked out of here without an arm full of books. There's no guarantee you'll find a specific title, but so many unexpected titles will find you! Too few of these places left in BMore, and this one has long been one of the best! Zero sales pressure.

Always satisfied. When I felt tired I often visit this sanctuary. It heals me and cure me and sooth me. Like gentle winds. And the price is very cool! Highly recommend, if you are reader and listener. Never disappointed.

An absolutely Baltimore institution: New and quality used books and vinyl records, as well as some CD's and choice video discs, cassette tapes, and current alternative to underground magazines, zines, etc. generally well reasonably priced.

Great selection -- and for some reason I didn't get the anxiety or overwhelm I sometimes have in record stores; I think it might have been because it is a book store as well. I talked to one of the nine original owners who was friendly and gave me nice suggestions on music venues nearby.
