I really like the store. It was like a walk through the past. It reminded me of licorice pizza in California back in the day when music was good and it was in vinyl. I didn't find their prices unreasonable at all.
I would tell you to ignore the one star ratings complaining about price or praises for the "Bay area" record market. Music Coop is about as far from a tourist trap as you can get.
Number one greatest most best record store of all time ever no contest. The owners John and Trina are the nicest and wisest people you'll meet and the all of the employees are super nice and handsome especially the taller one. 12/10 would spend hours in the store just hanging out until I was hired.
