I could gatekeep, but I don’t want to do yall like that😂 but in all seriousness this place is a gem and we definitely needed a record store like this in newark a long time ago. Feels like a blast from the past, from the ambience to the wide variety of records.
I took a train all the way from Trenton to Newark and I was NOT disappointed! They specialize in House/techno(What I went for) but I also found some latin (Salsa & merengue) gems! The vibe is amazing and the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable! I highly encourage you all to check this place out!
Ambience is top tier! Protect this gem and keep them in business at all cost! I no longer have to go to Hoboken or New York for a good record store, and i’m honestly so thankful that our city has a good record store like this now. I stayed in here for hours just exploring their collection, and was truly amazed.
An absolute gem in North Jersey, MORE MORE NOW RECORDS has the best and most unique selection of records for those looking to expand their music taste and catalog. The vibes are fantastic, and you can simply sit and enjoy the music in the background. Pete truly worked wonders. I highly recommend it!
