The staff is incredibly humble and accommodating. I didn't have enough coins to pay for my purchase, but they graciously let it slide. You can genuinely enjoy your time there without any interruptions from the staff.
You can find some good things here, but expect this store to be a little cluttered and dirty with things that haven't moved in years. They have books, CD's, vinyl, and all kinds of other things.
One of the coolest, hippest stores in Honolulu. I usually spend at least an hour there. Great $2 DVD bins. Killer comics and collectables. Books for kids and all adults with wide interests. They also will buy your used, but good, DVDs. Only on certain days though.
This is my favorite store I visited on vacation. Insane collection of everything imaginable. Books, toys, vinyl, CDs, cassettes, comic books, tarot cards and manga. It's not just that the selection is large, but it's also very well curated and priced. The women behind the counter was very helpful and welcoming.
