What customers say
OGs that aren't steep, do not sleep... Don't overlook the $1 bin. DITC 😉 I don't usually blow my spots but I want this place to thrive as they have a true and humble vibe. Old and new, there's something for everyone. Good genre selection, Rock to Jazz to Hip Hop etc etc etc.
Left of the Dial Record Shop - A Gem with Character I've been supporting this shop since Bill first took it over in its small, dark, and somewhat dinky downtown Santa Ana location. Back then, it had a certain charm, and I scored some great speakers and equipment at prime prices--really felt like I was getting a deal.
Owner is super nice and helpful. Small but packed with tons of records, new and vintage. Great prices and found some hidden gems. Smaller than the big box record shop but way better! Really neat place! Lots of new and used records to choose from. Whatever you are looking for more than likely they have it here.
Very solid record store with a neatly organized and large rock section. If you're new to the scene or this is your one true passionate hobby, this store as well as their staff is a good start! They have mostly rock, as expected, and a sprinkle of a lot of other genres but it's not as big or diverse as I hoped.
