What customers say
Owned by an old friend who used to run the art corner at the City Museum, this place is as innovative as it is welcoming. With a great selection of second-hand records, tapes, books and a few movies, interesting local zines, and occasional live music, this is a must-see if you’re visiting Cherokee.
Kismet Records was a such a pleasant surprise! This little shop packs a punch with a unique selection of music, you will surely find something new or a gem to take home. I scored a SEALED copy of “In Through the Out Door” and a stellar Zeppelin bootleg picture disc!
Great record shop and event space run by some solid people. I always pick up something interesting on the record side while I’m there. There’s an attention to shoegaze and quirky sonic offerings of a wide variety that I find particularly appealing. Plus there’s always great conversation as well. Highly recommended!
Support these guys, they're struggling because they're beautiful people and they don't make a big effort to make money, they just want to give. Go there and buy a T shirt or something please.
