This cool little record shop is tucked away in a popular area of West End Atlanta. I recently had a chance to visit and I loved the old school, artsy vibe. The staff was welcoming and eager to assist with any questions. I was impressed with the variety of musical genres to explore.
If you're looking for a place to find vinyl gems this is your place. JB & the team are knowledgeable and welcoming. I've been to several events at the shop and always have a great time. I was looking for a Phyllis Hyman album and they kept looking until they found it.
Truly lives up to the name of "West ends best kept secret"... I love this record store so much. The vibe, the owner, the selection, it keeps me coming back. I have found so many amazing records in here. I love it and will keep coming back!
I was there on opening day. By accident. Best random encounter that year. Unbeatable prices, excellent background music, nice lounge space, and Wax n Wine Wednesdays. After eating at the 640 West, "I go here to relax and hear the beats."
