Hub City Vinyl I have always told my daughter that the vinyl sound is better the digital recordings of today. Analog sound (vinyl records) catches the entire sound while digital recordings cut off certain portions of the sound. This is due to the way the digital sounds waves are created.
They have a lot of old and new vinyl, stereo equipment, and other things. Keep an eye out for the cutest little dog walking around! Prices were very good and the selection is really good. They even have live music on some days (punk band last Friday night). Plenty of parking in their lot and some on the street.
Finally, a record store that rivals Bananas records in St. Petersburg FL in size. The retail portion of the business is well organized and there are lots of records to dig through.
Such a gem in Hagerstown! When I first entered I marveled at the huge selection of new vinyl. Then I saw the cavernous back room with more classic records, tapes, and other music related stuff (including selections from other countries like Thailand!) awaited for me to browse. The guy working up front was super nice.
