House of Sound

Amazing new vintage music store in Madison. I stopped in for their grand opening. The minute you stepped through the door way it was like you were at “home.” The owners Joseph and Carissa Scott were so welcoming and inviting. There’s a HUGE selection of all things vintage music plus much more.

This place is amazing! Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Great vintage audio gear and hard to find albums. 😎. Great owners

My girlfriend and I were looking for a full vinyl and cassette deck setup with a receiver and sp camera, and the couple running the store were extremely helpful in helping us pick out the best components for our price range.

House of Sound is such a gem in Madison. It’s more than just a record store — it’s a place where music lovers can browse, listen, talk music, and discover something unexpected. They have a great selection of vinyl, CDs, cassettes, vintage audio gear, band tees, and fun retro finds.
