Get Hip or else! This record store is discreetly nestled in an industrial area however that's a good thing because parking is ample and free. They are one of the older and prominent record labels in Pittsburgh stemming from da'Burgh's first punk band The Cynics to arise from the depths of Swissvale.
As a long time fan of the label, I was psyched when they opened a full-on record store. Well organized and packed with great new releases and reissues. Fan club releases and reissues are definitely their strength. Some used stuff too. Friendly folks. Check em out!
Really welcoming staff. This record label has been in Pittsburgh for about 30 years now. They have a great selection and occasionally host live shows. The event has craft beer from Rock Bottom brewery and it doesn't break the bank.
Get Hip is the coolest! The team really knows their stuff - quite possibly the most knowledgeable music staff in all of Pgh? If you love vinyl, then you need to get to Get Hip!
