Gallery of Sound - Dickson City

What a fantastic record shop - they’ve got a great variety of records across all genres, selling both used and new vinyl, CDs, cassette tapes, etc. I can’t imagine a collector or music lover coming to this store and not walking out with at least one item if not several.

I started going here again for Record Store Day ( which is a blast and well-organized here). I recently started collecting records and CDs again, and thankfully this is the great store that I remember. It was fun then to browse for new and old music on a random day or night, and it is now.

This place is a staple of the area. They've been going strong for years because of their great selection of multiple forms of media, but also accessories and other merchandise. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly, but most importantly passionate about music.

Such a cool place! They have a lot of oldies and 80’s vinyls in the back and near the register is more of the recent stuff. Lots of their cds and vinyls are discounted at really great prices.
