Shoutout to the Folsom, CA. Fat Elephant Records in Historic Folsom. "Girl, put your record on Tell me your favorite song ..." A genuine record shop! Not only do they have LPs... they have CDs. New and used. Each item is labeled with a sticker stating the condition. Besides music, they have books.
Just returned from Fat Elephant Records in Rancho Cordova. What a wonderful place to find Records. The shop is extremely clean and well organized. The selection of different types of music was impressive...including imports. Nice staff, ample parking and good pricing.
Absolutely perfect record shop. Beautifully organized, clean, great vibes, very cool guy. I was not aware of all the parking lots nearby until I left the area. There seems to be no parking but there is plenty. You might have to walk a bit, but it will be worth it.
I love the selection of books, they have great options for both kids and adults. Even if you don’t have a record player, it’s worth a visit to check out the books. So glad to have this store in the neighborhood!
