Stumbled across this hidden gem while exploring Downtown Hickory. Tucked away in the Shoppes on the Square building, this shop has an amazing selection you wouldn't believe! My friends and I love to make a day of it and come and flip through Brent's AWESOME. selection! The atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming TO ALL!
I have visited quite a few record stores, but Far Out Records goes above and beyond. Brent is always willing to help search for that hidden gem we are searching for. No other record store I have shopped at has this level of customer service. I will continue for years to come to return to Far Out Records!!

Finally got a chance to visit Far Out Records in Hickory, NC. I have bought several records from them online and wanted to stop and see the store. I had the opportunity to meet Allen, a super nice guy, and to check out all the cool merchandise.
