In NOLA for a long weekend, I always try to hit record stores when I'm on the road. This old school shop in an out of the way neighborhood did not disappoint! Great selection of new and used vinyl in all genres, organized for optimal digging.
Packed wall to wall, including a second level, with new, used, current, classic, and hard to find vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and even a few 8 tracks. This is a treasure trove for collectors, as well as casual listeners. The only negative is that it’s hard to narrow down what to get without spending an absolute fortune!
Recommended! I enjoyed digging through the bins here. You can find an extensive jazz collection here. it is upstairs, I realized a bit late so I had to rush through the bins but I still found a bunch of great records. I’ll definitely be back here on my next New Orleans visit.
