Esoteric Records is a great place to shop. Selection is superb. Prices are reasonable. This place was always more fun than Dimple, which was sterile in comparison. Esoteric is like a Berkeley record store. There is no place better to buy records, CDs and cassettes.
I went there for CDs. The prices were quite low and the selection was pretty good. Not all generes are well-represented, but some good stuff. I traded in a few CDs and the store credit he gave was fair given the price he sells things for.
