What customers say
awesome staff that isn't overwhelming with music knowledge and pretentious like most record shops. the selection is pretty vast and the suggestions i was given ended up being records i bought and have already thoroughly enjoyed.
Every time I travel I look for CD shops and buy something. Apparently in Manhattan there are only two places still selling CDs, and this one is a real gem. The music selection is great and the owner is nice to talk to and very knowledgeable.
Owner is knowledgeable and fun to talk to. They host live shows once a week. The space is small and intimate. It feels like you’re walking into a studio session, which is really special. The record selection is wild. I always find something new, and many times, the owner is the one who helps me discover it.
Bruce's broad knowledge in music goes back to the 60's and covers multifaceted genres. His strength comes from this and is only exceeded by his cordial manner and friendly conversational skills. If you want music from Canterbury to Avant-garde this is the place and Bruce is the man.
