Digital Underground

Editing to add: Vinyl Altar and Digital Underground are the same place. It confused us a little when googling the address. So much music, they've got CDs, cassettes, vinyl, mostly all metal which I was happy about. Also a selection of little collectibles like Slayer action figures and Magic the Gathering cards.

Fantastic store with very diverse product lines. Strong customer service and friendly owner and staff. Philly needs more great , indy stores like this one. Thanks to Joe and his staff.

One of the best hobby shops in Philly, hands down. They have great customer service and will take your orders. Once they come in, they do call you, and there is never any pressure to pick it up right away. You can even cancel your order when it comes in.

Very nice folks who work here. However the vinyl selection seems to be half of what it once was, giving way to more anime plushies and such. A shame as it once was half metal! Still a good spot with a solid selection and good prices
