Deep Cuts is one of my favorite things about Ridgewood. Half my collection came from this gem of a record store! Certainly worth a visit for new releases and the best of ~everything else~ Lots of deals and expanding selection of tapes!
Chill store with a feel-good atmosphere. You'll have a nice time skimming the inventory to find something for yourself. It's a narrow space that uses every inch to sell records. Crates and boxes of records are labeled with genre and dividers. Some CDs and cassettes in the front too.
The name doesn’t lie. Very cool offerings, and the rap curation was exceptional. I wouldn’t recommend going here for techno or other types of electronic dance music (unless I missed a section of floor bins), but you’ll find an abundant and playful variety of any other genres you’re looking for.
Never leave empty handed. They always have great hard to find records at great prices.
