We make it a point to stop at Coastal Empire Records every year that we're in Savannah visiting my in-laws. We always find a record to take home. The shop feels good, if that makes sense.
This shop is just so special. Yeah, i came out with a couple of great albums (Miles Davis and The Litter) but the real treat here are the owners Ken & Shirlene. They’ve poured their hearts and souls into this place and it shows! Our visit was way back in 2019 but we’re still in touch to this day.
Visited CER on 3/19 for the 1st time. Clean and well organized with a great selection of new and used. Ken and his wife work together to make the store special. Ken is very knowledgeable about music and very helpful. Plenty of inventory.
