My favorite record store by a long shot, Cherry Records has a great selection of classics, as well as some really neat, hard to find records. Al always keeps a wide array of genres in stock, mostly sticking with the classics, but often carrying newer things as well.
Mostly a pretty great store. I don't always buy something, but they have a little bit of everything without it feeling overwhelming, and always something that is a cool find. Check out their used jazz section --always has nice pieces in there.
THE BEST record store, hands down that I've been to. I'm not saying that he's got the largest selection but that's not necessarily the key to a good record store. The quality of his albums is top-notch. He only buys the best and makes sure they are clean before you walk out the door. And he does have a GREAT selection.
Best record store in the area by far! Al is extremely knowledgeable, and runs a great store. He maintains a great variety of high quality products at a fair price. I’ve never left empty handed. Be sure to stop by on Record Store Day as well.
