I'm a huge believer in Magic. When I came to Hillsdale for the yearly conference at the college, I thought I knew exactly the types of stores and restaurants would be here. Until I found Checker Records. This is a classic record store with a twist. They serve coffee. Good coffee.

One of my favorite coffee shops! If you get a chance to stop in. I recommend the cherry bomb! They sell records and cds with a good selection and the players to play them as well! Well worth the time to stop in!
Cute place! My son is obsessed with the cotton candy shake and I got one this time and it was so good! It was a little pricey $8 a drink but it was worth it. They are pretty big in size as well.
