Cheapo Records

Very cheap cassettes with a wide variety! There were only a handful that went above 5 dollars. The most expensive cassette there was just 20$ and that was the only one. Majority are priced about 1.95. Anything above that and they are probably in a special case anyway. The cassettes were all organized well too!

One of the greatest music and pop culture stores I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. I’m a fan of cassettes, which are usually found in-person as incredibly pricey and/or damaged. Cheapo’s features a wall full of well-organized, affordable cassettes in great shape! There’s even 50 cent replacement cases!

I love Cheapo. I've been coming since 1992 and it's one of my favorite things in the Twin Cities. On a visit home I went to their new location (they were displaced from their Uptown home by yet another condo) and left with $120 worth of random CD's and DVDs.

Pretty extensive collection of CDs, DVDs, Blu Rays and vinyl records. This store is huge! Their sorting was a little different for me - having classic rock and modern rock in two different sections, but maybe that's just me.
