Charter Books

Lovely little book store with a wide variety of books organized for easy selection. Some unique choices as well as calendars, games, and some writing/drawing sets. Lovely places to read and just relax. Definitely enjoyed our visit!

Might be my favorite bookstore I’ve ever visited!!! And that’s saying something- I’ve been to tons, I love to read, and I’m picky about bookstores. I spent over an hour here just browsing and chatting with a kind and friendly employee named Joe.

Took our kids for a walk to the book store today. As soon as we were inside they were excitedly finding books that interested them, and they took them to the children’s room to read. Not only was the selection of books for kids great, the children’s reading room was so functional and adorable.

I absolutely love Charter Books in Newport! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The bookstore boasts a fantastic selection that caters to various tastes.
