Probably the owner don't remember about me, but I'm from Italy and we bought a vinyl there in october (2024). He's also italian and was a great experience to know him and chat along.
Proprietor Gary was super friendly and we ended up chatting a few times while I was in NY. I came in for NYE and though I did not make a purchase, I quickly realized how important a space like this is for the community. I felt right at home and it gave me a sense of belonging that I truly appreciated.
Wonderful 70’s vibes and the seller played music from that decade too, and he was dressed to the part. We bought one Hamilton Camp record there.
Great place to buy quality vinyl! Vinyl is in mint condition and at a reasonable price! Wonderful selection of hard to find records in THE central location at Essex Market! Record store owner does not bother you and lets you browse at your own pace! Excellent stickers to add to your collection!
