Broken Melody Records is truly something special. Kevin and his wife Melissa are not just owners — they’re music people in the truest sense. Their knowledge runs deep, their passion is contagious, and they genuinely care about every record and every customer that walks through the door.

So thankful Urbana now has a record shop. Thank you, Melissa and Kevin. A warm, inviting environment, thanks to your fun personalities, and your great selection of albums, new and used, to explore. Monk and Coltrane are coming through my turntable, clear as a live performance, as I write this.
