I have been shopping at the Bop Shop for my eccentric taste in vinyl since 1987. By far the best shop for vinyl in Rochester. The vinyl is well organized, the quality is excellent and the prices are fair. If you don't see what you are looking for, ASK!
There are many great record stores in Rochester, but this one's my favorite! Tom and Kim, and the whole crew are extremely knowledgeable about the subject of music. Name a band? They probably know it! I love coming in and looking at their used CDs; they're high quality and nicely priced.
Friendly people working in the shop. Nice big shop with plenty of records and cassettes. Good ambience and the AC was great. The owner bought some of my records and directed me to where I should sell my record player and cassette player. They were super courteous. Overall it was a great experience.
