Black Habit Records

What a great addition to the neighborhood! The staff is so nice and the selection is stellar. A common complaint in vintage media stores is that they tend to go in deep on one medium (Video Games, Vinyl, tapes, or DVD), but what makes Black Habit special is its assortment of all of the above!

Went to Black Habit a hour before a concert , and the whole hour flew by. I walked in and was I mediately engrossed by the interior of the store, like if you like music for music, the store is insanely beautiful. Once I asked Ben for a recommendation, we were talking music the entire time. Just vibes and tunes.

Went record shopping on Valentine's Day and was greeted by Sara(h?) who was playing Blondie (adore) and was so warm and friendly. Had a great selection of everything from current artists as well as old school hip hop and lots of jazz, soul and blues. SO happy this is in my neighborhood!

Stumbled through here with our dogs and bought three records. The guys working here are charismatic and dog friendly giving treats to our dogs. They also have a great selection of classic vintage games for Super Nintendo, n64, and an array for all vintage PlayStation console games. Keep an eye out if you’re in EAV!
