Where to find Beverly Records
What collectors say again and again
“new record stores are popping up all over, really nice spots, some of them going for that cozy living room/vintage/coffee shop feel.”
What customers say
This place is stacked high and wide with albums from all genres and eras. Seriously, I've never seen so many. The downfall is that it can make it hard to find what you are looking for, so make some time to scavenge through but also the staff are more than happy to help so just ask.
Nuts about this place! It is perfect for: audiophiles, historians, fans of every musical genre including blues, jazz, classical, musicals, hip hop (R and B to my generation), country, folk, and other treasures. The walls are filled with memorabilia; the collections are organized perfectly by genre and artist.
This is a great place, and they have a very huge selection. Since going in the first time and thumbing through the racks, I've been hooked. I've found some great records in very good condition. I've yet to come out with just one album. The atmosphere is great. Get your list together and give it a go.
This one is a bit of a drive and certainly off the beaten path of Chicago records stores, but well worth it. They have a LOT of vinyl and good prices. Easy parking. Knowledgable staff for sure as this joints been around for a couple decades. The only real down sides are organization and condition.
