Backstreet Beat

Shhhhhhhhh....I want to keep Backstreet Beats my lil secret!!!! I was in Seattle in early September for a 4 day conference...the early morning of the last day...walked to Pier 52, purchased my senior ticket for $5 buck, experienced a smooth 35 minute ferry ride...weeeeeeeeeeee...

This bookshop is the perfect size, with an absolutely great atmosphere. Super natural and friendly feel, good levels of booksmell. Super fair prices, and fantastic staff, really good folks!

This is by far the best vinyl shop in the area- so much variety and lots of it! I never leave with less than two albums each time I visit.

These guys are the best. It's a small space so they don't have everything. What they do have is good and in good shape. You're not going to find scuffed/scratched/warped/dirty records outside of the bargain bin, and even their bargain bin is reliably great, in fact I've never found anything that wasn't just a cosmetic…
