Astro-Zombies

Great local comic and collectible shop within walking distance of a lot of points of interests. We stopped here during a cross country road trip. We bought a Lou Reed album py partner had never heard of, so she was very excited.

Wow! Not only is it a top-notch comic store plus record store plus collectibles (toys) store, but it’s owned by an amazingly funny dude. It’s expected that a comic store owner will be smart and knowledgeable about comics; it’s never guaranteed that he or she will be charismatic and funny.

Lots of eye candy outside my budget but some good stuff. Couldn't find anything I wanted bookwise and back issues were hit and miss. There was also records. My only issue was space constraints while looking. Had to keep moving out of the way for other customers because of tight aisles.

This place was really cool and I had an extra enjoyable experience just because the people working behind the counter were super knowledgeable and friendly. I mean, I know that you have your comicbook store type buffs who know certain genres of things, but what I'm saying is even when I asked about little girl books,…
