Wonderful new vinyl & literature spot with really good pricing. Located on the DC/Montgomery County line in Chevy Chase Circle, Art Sound Language has a fine little selection of used stuff, with a few carefully curated new records mixed in.

This will sound weird but best smelling record store I've ever been to. The wood used for the racks (pine? cedar?) has a very pleasant smell. Also very well curated and reasonable prices. Happy to have this in the neighborhood.

Great new vinyl (new and used) and book shop in the beautiful Chevy Chase Arcade space. Nice selections of rock, pop, jazz and reggae/dub especially. Outstanding customer service. Go support them! Lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby so make a trip out of it.

You can always tell when an owner is passionate about their store, and this is definitely a passion project! Good selection at reasonable prices, and the owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. I'll be keeping an eye out for an upcoming event as well!
