Great new record store! This store has an excellent selection of used vinyl all for a great price. Got myself a 1985 copy of Brother in Arms for a great price! Owner is awesome too. If you’re a vinyl collector or someone that likes to support small businesses I highly recommend!

Vinyl is cool. Take it from someone who owns way tooooo many LPs. Animal Records is a great place to go if you are building your record collection or perhaps you have a few records that you no longer listen to. At this point, I would rather have five great albums than 100 that I no longer listen to.

It’s so much fun in the shop with people from all over Chicago area and world too (traveling musicians and Northwestern University people) - it feels like a fun event to pop in say hello to Greg and the staff…

I was in Evanston for a show at Space and decided to stop in. They may have been only open for a year, but they have all the charm of a record store that is decades old. The staff were incredibly friendly and they have a good selection! The prices seem very reasonable as well for the items I was interested in.
