How cool is this? I've lived in Camarillo for nearly 20 years and I've always thought it would be neat to have a record store and music spot on Ventura Blvd. American Pie Records was opened by an attorney in our community that loves music.
THESE GUYS CARE ABOUT MUSIC! Went in today just to browse, I was interested in a turntable for my dad and they went out of their way to show me my options that they had and explain what was really important when buying one as well as demo a few of them.
What an amazing record store. The guys there, Gary and Jack, I believe, were so incredibly kind and helpful. I found 3 records of a niche type of sound right after telling Jack how I couldn't find any of these records from my favorite record store. They also let me shop their huge selection of soundtrack vinyls.
Love this little Record shop. Super sweet people and very huge and nice collection. Totally feels like a real recordshop not one trying to be somthing they're not. Truly retro Vibes and very reasonable prices. Definitely going back there!!!
