Was visiting Oahu from Kauai, hoping that I could find a vinyl shop that sold Japanese city pop. I just knew that there was bound to be a spot with the culture out here and I was right! I found Aloha Got Soul and man did they have a collection!
This is my favorite record shop in town! Whenever I walk in to take a look, I always end up walking out with a couple new records to add to my collection. Roger and Lei, who run Aloha Got Soul, are also super friendly, accommodating, and have recommended some great music from the selection they carry.
Had a great time digging for records, new and used. These guys run their own label as well. You also find super cool merch here. 5 stars
One of the most important shops and labels out there at the moment. Visited from Calgary and the shop was a quick 15 minute walk from my place, so I made the trek. The shop, while quaint, was extremely well organized and even better curated.
